In our continued effort to support parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs, we have the great pleasure of hosting Rabbi Noach Orlowek on Sunday May 25th, 8.30pm via Zoom.

Rabbi Orlowek is a world-renowned educator and Mashgiach in Yeshivas Torah Ohr in Jerusalem.  Following his previously successful visits to Manchester he is joining us via Zoom, where he will be relating life in lockdown to the issues faced by parents and children.

In more than 30 years of working with parents and students alike, Rabbi Orlowek has developed an approach to parenting and life that has been successfully adopted by the students that he has taught. He is the author ofmany books including  Being an Imperfect Parent, Recognising that there is no such thing as a perfect parent is an important step toward being a good parent; Coping with Fear, How to teach your children to cope with living in a scary, sometimes unjust world; and Disciplining Kids Effectively:Effective discipline begins long before you need to correct anything. It depends on the trusting relationship between the parent and child.
